Tonightâs new episode of My Strange Addiction will introduce viewers to Carrie, a Colorado woman who for the past four years has been addicted to drinking about five glasses (roughly 80 ounces) of her own urine a day. She believes that it has helped treat her cancer, despite no medical proof claiming it has resulted in increased energy and strengthening her joints and muscles.
âI like warm pee, itâs comforting,â she says. âThe first time I drank my urine I didnât throw up and it wasnât horrible, so I thought âyou know what, I can do this.ââ
She goes on to explain how the taste of her urine is dependent on what sheâs consumed and howâs sheâs learned through trial and error what to stay away from â like asparagus, which apparently doesnât taste as good recycled.
Carrie doesnât limit her consumption to just drinking urine out of a glass â she brushes her teeth with her urine, consumes it via an eye cup and pouring it into the corner of her eye socket, she even saves her urine for a week and rubs the old urine on her body as a lotion.
If you can stomach it, My Strange Addiction: Urine Drinker airs on TLC tonight (Sunday, March 18) at 9pm ET/PT.

Ugh! I don’t think I could bare to watch Carrie, or for that matter any of the others on My Strange Addiction!
