Fun Questions With Khloe Kardashian

By Emily Mitchell

During an interview for her new reality show, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, Khloe answered a few questions about herself, like her favorite magazines, TV shows, and music. Plus, one very creepy fan encounter …9088

You are at a magazine rack and can pick three magazines. What are they?
I love tabloid magazines. Life & Style, Vogue, and Hip-Hop Weekly. It’s just funny between me and my sisters. We are in Hip-Hop Weekly, one of us, like probably once a week. But none of us are in the hip-hop industry, so that’s why we find it so funny. But we love the magazine.

If your TV only carried three shows, which three would you want?
I would choose The Real Housewives of any city, I don’t care what city it is. Obviously Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and I would do Divine Design. I love that show.

What has been your strangest fan encounter?
Well, I haven’t encountered this person. But there is this one person that sends me mail every week, and attached with the fan mail on note cards (like flashcards), this individual tapes his pubic hair. It’s very amazing and sick and disgusting. I mean he’s crazy. Now it goes straight to the police. He does it all the time but no one can find him. Like, he’s weird. I don’t know what’s going on. He writes the weirdest things. Like ‘Khloe, do you ever feel like you’re being screwed with?’ and he put a bunch of screws in the envelope. And that’s all it says. And then he’ll write me one the next week and it’s like ‘I love you. I would have loved if I could have shot your PETA campaign.’ Just like the weirdest things. But he doesn’t scare me cuz I’ve never met him.

When was the last time you were starstruck?
I wish I got starstruck more. I don’t know if this is considered starstruck, but I met Rihanna for the first time and I thought she was just so overwhelmingly sweet and beautiful. It wasn’t that I was starstruck. She came up to us and she was like ‘Oh my gosh, I love your show! And I’m like ‘WHAT!?! I love you!’ and it was kind of like we were going back and forth with how much we liked each other. It was a lovefest. She is such a nice girl and she didn’t have to be. Like she didn’t have to say the things she said. It made me respect her and appreciate her more. She’s such a genuinely nice girl.

Since you are now a DJ, music must be important to you. Who are some of your favorite artists?
Honestly I love all types of music. I go from like Carrie Underwood to Lil Wayne to Young Jeezy to Keri Hilson. I love music. I love The-Dream. I love Drake. I love Rihanna. I love Taylor Swift, and I even love Miley Cyrus’ new song [“The Climb”]. And because of my little sisters I hear it all. But I mean, there’s not a lot of music I don’t like. I can’t go too country and I don’t like techno music. I won’t listen to techno. I like The Pussycat Dolls and I like Pink. I’m really like a Top 40’s girl. But I am [also] an oldies R&B junkie. I love Gladys Knight and Etta James. I love all those like older people. But nobody knows I am like an oldies junkie. Like Gladys Knight, I die for. [And] Stevie Wonder. Like all that Motown old stuff. That’s definitely up my alley. I love that stuff. I’m an old soul, everybody kind of tells me, so I love that music.
