College football on FOX Sports and FX 2011 schedule

By Ryan Berenz

It wasn’t too long ago that FOX owned the TV rights to college football’s BCS bowls and national championship game, but didn’t air any other college football during the season. That’s changed this season, and FOX and its cable networks are making a major push into college football again. FX will air a College Football Game of the Week beginning Saturday, Sept. 3, with Tulsa at No. 1 Oklahoma at 8pm ET. The FOX broadcast channel airs the inaugural Pac-12 Conference Championship Game on Friday, Dec. 2, followed by the inaugural Big Ten Championship Game on Saturday, Dec. 3 from Indianapolis, as well as the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic at Cowboys Stadium on Friday, Jan. 6. National and regional broadcasts of Big 12, Pac-12 and Conference USA games will air on the FSN regional channels and FOX College Sports channels. 1. Jesse says:

I completely agree with ellen. Worst announcers ever. Gus Johnson who called the game is from Detroit which is probably why he was so obviously bias. He is complete garbage. Seriously, fox needs to fire this joker.

  2. Ellen says:

Fox announcers for the Big Ten Championship game are horrible. The one guy is a Michigan fan… Michigan this Michigan that… You are missing plays … did you go to Michigan or something??? Wisconsin is playing too…. They both deserve to be there…. Get New announcers. They are horrible.

  3. Mark Merideth says:

The football commentators for the OU – Iowa State game are terrible. All their comments are positive for Iowa State and negative for OU. You would think Iowa State was winning 22-6. They have missed so many plays and action away from the ball that it makes me sick. FX against OU. Feels that way.

  4. Mark Merideth says:

I am so sick of you football commenting on the OU Iowa State football game. There comments are all praise of Iowa State and all negative regarding OU. You would think Iowa State was winning 22-6 instead of OU winning./
