“Inside West Coast Customs” returns to Velocity

Fans of car-fabrication shows, prepare to get out your geek-out yet again. Ryan Friedlinghaus and his world-renowned West Coast Customs crew are back, giving viewers the inside track on how they work their custom-car fabrication magic when their series Inside West Coast Customs hits Velocity this Sunday, Feb. 12 at 10pm. As fans who watched the first season on Discovery HD Theater know, each episode shows how the West Coast Customs guys start with their clients’ initial ideas, render them onscreen and work them into spectacular reality.

The celebrity client list for WCC includes Will.i.am, Mark Wahlberg and even return customer Justin Bieber. But it’s innovation, craftsmanship and attention to detail that are the stars of this series, and what will keep its audience coming back to it. With their increasingly high profile, the West Coast Customs guys have boosted their roster of corporate clients as well, with Best Buy, Zippo and Microsoft among the names that have sought them out for their marketing abilities.

Yeah, it’s a lot of hype and a lot of showmanship, but as anyone who’s watching Inside West Coast Customs or any shows like it knows, it’s about the cars. From making a Batmobile-style Cadillac for Bieber or a tricked-out Tron car, the West Coast Customs fellows know their business, and that’s why business, for them, is booming.

  1. I heard the 3rd season is also the last. Is there any tv-stuff planned after that?
