Where to watch the U.S. Open golf tournament

Rory McIlroy U.S. OpenRory McIlroy gave golf fans flashbacks to the days of Tiger Woods’ dominance with his remarkable victory at last year’s U.S. Open. McIlroy became the youngest U.S. Open winner since Bobby Jones in 1923, and he shot all four rounds in the 60s and finished 16 under par for the tournament. World No. 1 McIlroy will try to repeat at The Olympic Club in San Francisco, where he’ll be challenged by Luke Donald, Lee Westwood, Hunter Mahan, Steve Stricker, Woods (now a favorite thanks to his recent win at The Memorial) and Masters champion Bubba Watson. ESPN and NBC air the tournament June 14-17. Full press release from the NBC Sports Group is available here. Click here for details of ESPN’s multiplatform coverage.
