Clive Owen narrates FOX Sports documentary series about Liverpool FC

Oscar-nominated actor Clive Owen has been selected to narrate a new documentary series from FOX Sports Media Group called Being: Liverpool. Before airing regularly on FOX Soccer, the six-episode series will kick off its first episode to a potentially much larger audience Sept. 16 on FOX Broadcasting, either preceding (3pm ET) or following (4:30pm ET) local NFL on FOX singleheader coverage (check listings in your area).

Being: Liverpool profiles one of soccer’s most iconic and influential sporting institutions — the Liverpool Football Club, of which Owen is a lifelong fan. One of the most decorated soccer clubs in the world, Liverpool FC has 18 topflight English titles, seven FA Cups and a record eight League Cups to its name. The documentary marks the first time that cameras have been allowed inside a Barclays Premier League locker room, with FOX Sports onsite during the club’s formative transition under new manager Brendan Rodgers.

Following its premiere the afternoon of Sept. 16 on FOX, the first episode of Being: Liverpool will have two repeats that evening on FOX Soccer, and it will repeat throughout the week on National Geographic Channel, FOX Sports Networks and FUEL TV. MundoFOX, the newly launched over-the-air Spanish-language network, will debut the series Sept. 22 at 2pm ET.

Future episodes of Being: Liverpool will debut in prime time on FOX Soccer and MundoFOX Sundays at 9pm ET/PT starting Sept. 23, with repeats on National Geographic Channel, FSN and FUEL TV (check local listings).
