The month of October (and even the last few days of September) have plenty to offer the fan of all things creepy, as we gear up for Halloween season. Whether you like your horror hardcore, or more family-friendly, you should be able to find some movie or show to your liking. Here’s some of the notable Halloween Programming 2012. (All times Eastern; check back regularly for updates and additions.)

Paranormal Paparazzi – Fridays at 7pm starting Sept. 28 on Travel Channel. In this new series, Aaron Sagers’ (journalist, pop culture enthusiast, editor in chief of the Paranormal Pop Culture blog) hand-picked team of reporters travel the country tracking down the most current, bizarre and unsolved paranormal stories.

Making Monsters Season 2 – Sundays at 8pm starting Sept. 30 on Travel Channel. In Season 2, viewers go behind-the-scenes and on the road with Distortions Unlimited, the Colorado-based “haunt industry” animatronic and prop-making company run by Ed & Marsha Edmunds. The series, featuring 10 one-hour episodes, follows the Edmunds and their staff – including renowned Hollywood creature and mask maker Jordu Schell – as they create some of the scariest new animatronics and frightronics the world has ever seen. This season, Distortions is tasked with some of the most unusual and challenging projects to date, including a red-eyed, smoke-breathing tiki for a haunt on the Hawaiian island of Oahu and a creepy, spitting, twisting centipede for Atlanta’s premiere haunt, Netherworld.

31 Days of Halloween – Syfy. Each day in October, Syfy will offer some sort of movie or series to help viewers get into the spooky spirit of the season. All told, the network says it will air over 580 hours of Halloween programming throughout the month, including a couple of premiere original movies (see below).

Horror District – Every night in October at 10pm on Encore Suspense. Every night in October at 10pm ET, Encore Suspense airs a horror double-feature. Thrillers include everything from Final Destination 2 and Scream to Species and Let Me In. Search for more movies airing in October here.

Classic Horror – Wednesday nights in October starting at 8pm on TCM. Each Wednesday night in October will feature a theme of classic horror films. Oct. 3 is themed around actor Lionel Atwill, with films including The Mystery of the Wax Museum (1933) and Mark of the Vampire (1935). October 10 is themed “Hauntings,” with classic ghost movies including The Haunting (1963), The Uninvited (1944) and Dead of Night (1945). On October 17, the theme is Hammer Horror, a block of films from the legendary British studio, including Horror of Dracula (1958), Curse of Frankenstein (1957) and The Mummy (1959). October 24 is all about Edgar Allan Poe, with several film adaptations of his works, including The Raven (1963), Murders in the Rue Morgue (1932) and The Black Cat (1934). Finally, on Halloween, October 31, the theme is Universal Horror, with some of Universal Studios’ legendary monster movies, including Frankenstein (1931), The Wolf Man (1941) and The Mummy (1932).

V/H/S – Oct. 3 at 10pm; encores at midnight and 2am on HDNet Movies. Catch this “found footage” horror anthology film before it hits theaters in limited release on Oct. 5. An unknown person hires a group of misfits to break into an abandoned house and locate a mysterious VHS tape. But there, they discover more found footage than they bargained for.

Paranormal Witness: “The Abduction” — Oct. 3 at 10pm on Syfy. This special 90-minute episode brings together for the first time all the key people involved in the most famous alleged alien abduction case in history, who reveal what they saw and experienced. It’s the story of the reported 1975 abduction and reappearance of Arizona logger Travis Walton, whose five-day experience inspired the film Fire in the Sky. Thirty-seven years later, Walton and the six loggers who lived through the events and ensuing investigation still stand by their story.

A.N.T. Farm: “mutANTfarm II” – Oct. 5 at 8pm on Disney Channel. Chyna Parks returns to the mutA.N.T. Program, where monsters like Chyna go to school with normal high school students. When Chyna soon develops a forbidden crush on a cute human boy named Brady, she pretends to be human in order to spend quality time with him. Meanwhile, Olive clones herself to be in two places at once, but when her Igor-like assistant Violet accidentally lets the clone loose, it wreaks havoc on the school.

Jessie: “The Whining” – Oct. 5 at 8:30pm on Disney Channel. In the Season 2 premiere, the Ross kids become concerned that history is repeating itself after a scary old doorman tells them a building legend about a nanny who did “something terrible” to the kids in her care on Halloween. Meanwhile, Jessie and Tony work together to crash an exclusive Halloween party so Jessie can give her short story to a famous magazine editor.

Gravity Falls: “Summerween” – Oct. 5 at 9pm on Disney Channel. It’s Gravity Falls’ version of Halloween in Summer with Jack-o-Melons and lots of trick-or-treating. Dipper and Mabel are excited to join in on the fun, but when Wendy casually mentions that trick-or-treating is for kids, Dipper’s whole outlook on the evening changes. The night gets even more complicated when a monster that Dipper accidentally insulted makes them fulfill his candy quota by night’s end or else he will eat them.

Fish Hooks: “Unfinished Dog Business” – Oct. 5 at 9:30pm on Disney Channel. When Bea’s childhood doll resurfaces, Bea realizes how creepy the doll was and pawns it off on Milo and Oscar. But no matter what she does to try and rid herself of the doll, it keeps magically reappearing and haunting her.

Fish Hooks: “Chicks Dig Vampires” – Oct. 5 at 9:45pm on Disney Channel. Albert has a crush on Esmargot and comes up with a plan to act and live like a vampire to win her affections. Unbeknownst to Albert, however, Esmargot is a secret vampire slayer set out to rid the world of all vampires.

The Dead Files – Fridays at 10pm starting Oct. 5 on Travel Channel. New episodes of the paranormal investigative series that features retired NYPD homicide detective Steve DiSchiavi and medium Amy Allan as they travel to cities throughout America to help solve unexplained disturbances. This season includes “Dead Files Revisited,” special episodes in which Allan and DiSchiavi look back on previous investigations, revealing additional information from each experience and following up with the clients to see what’s happened since they left.

Tales From the Crypt – Fridays at 10pm beginning Oct. 5 on FEARnet. The famous horror anthology series that aired from 1989-96, originally on HBO (and based on the classic 1950 comic books), will be seen for the first time on network television since 2004 as FEARnet begins airing it. All 93 produced episodes will play in order, beginning with Season 1 and continuing through the seventh and final season. The TV episodes will premiere Friday nights in a two-hour block on FEARnet from 10pm-midnight ET, and will re-air on Mondays in the same time period. The original cable versions are available for the first time since their first airing, and will launch on FEARnet’s VOD platform starting Oct. 10.

R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour Marathon – Oct. 6 from 4-7pm on The Hub. The Hub’s annual “Haunted Hub” programming event kicks off with this marathon of the scariest episodes fromt he first two seasons of The Haunting Hour, featuring Ariel Winter, Bailee Madison, Jake Cherry, Debby Ryan, Gabe Basso and Frankie Jonas. During the Haunted Hub event, The Hub will offer a month of spooky series, movies, online games and a sweepstakes, with the cornerstone of the event being the season premiere of The Haunting Hour on Oct. 13.

Halloween Wars Season 1 Marathon – Oct. 6 from 7-11pm on Food Network. Season 2 premieres tomorrow night, but you can check out Season 1 of this Halloween-decorating competition series in tonight’s marathon.

Bedlam Season 2 – Saturdays at 9pm starting Oct. 6 on BBC America. In the second season, the restless spirits of Bedlam Heights wreak their terrible revenge on unsuspecting new inhabitants. A few months ago Ellie started having visions of the dead re-enacting their violent, shocking deaths on the living. Through the hospital where she works, Ellie also knows that a former patient, Jed, was treated for exactly the same thing and if only she could track him down, she’s sure he must know a way to make it stop. As the residents continue to be terrorized by the asylum’s dark past, they soon realize whatever is waiting for them in the depths of Bedlam Heights is worse than anything they could have ever imagined.

The Simpsons: “Treehouse of Horror XXII” (encore) – Oct. 7 at 7pm on FOX. A repeat of last year’s “Treehouse of Horror” episode. In the opening segment, Homer takes a dangerous dive into an isolated canyon, but when a crashing boulder traps his arm, he channels Aron Ralston (guest-voicing himself) to save himself. Then, in the first tale, “The Diving Bell and the Butterball,” a venomous spider bite leaves Homer paralyzed, but when Lisa discovers his ability to communicate through natural gases, he is able to express his love for Marge. In “Dial D For Diddly,” Ned Flanders, devout preacher by day, turns into a cold-blooded vigilante by night. The last tale, “In the Na’Vi,” finds Bart and Milhouse assigned on a mission to access a sacred extract on a distant planet. They morph into the land’s indigenous one-eyed avatars, but when Bart finds love and an eternal mate abroad, he is caught in planet warfare.

The Cleveland Show: “Escape From Goochland” — Oct. 7 at 7:30pm on FOX. On a Halloween-themed night, Cleveland and the gang visit their rival high school in Goochland for the annual football game, but when Federline (guest voice Jamie Kennedy) destroys the car belonging to Cleveland’s arch-nemesis Chet Butler (guest voice Riggle), they must find a way to escape their enemy’s home turf. Meanwhile, Donna dons a sexy Halloween costume that gets her in trouble with the cops, and Roberta and Cleveland Jr. play pranks around Stoolbend when they dress up as Donna and Cleveland.

Good Luck Charlie: “Le Halloween” – Oct. 7 at 8pm on Disney Channel. Amy dresses up like a kangaroo for Halloween, complete with a baby pouch for Toby and Charlie, while Bob goes in his exterminator uniform, going by the name Captain Extermo.

The Simpsons: “Treehouse of Horror XXIII” – Oct. 7 at 8pm on FOX. In the opener of the 23rd annual “Treehouse of Horror,” we go back to ancient times when a Mayan Homer and Marge are witnesses to the prediction by ancient calendar makers that 2012 will be the end of the world. In “The Greatest Story Ever Holed,” the first of three stories, the Springfield Subatomic Supercollider creates a black hole that terrorizes the city, sucking up everything in its path. Then, in “UNnormal Activity” the Simpsons install cameras all over the house when things start to go bump in the night and Marge discovers it may have to do with an unholy pact she made some years prior. In the final tale, “Bart & Homer’s Excellent Adventure,” Bart travels to 1974 to buy a comic book at cover price but inadvertently disrupts Homer and Marge’s courtship, leading Marge to end up with Artie Ziff (guest voice Jon Lovitz).

Austin & Ally: “Costumes & Courage” – Oct. 7 at 8:30pm on Disney Channel. Austin’s new record label owner Jimmy Starr invites him to perform at the Starr Records Halloween party, where he will perform a duet with a famous musician to Ally’s new song. However, when Dez and Trish’s ghost-hunting mission goes awry, the musician is unable to perform and Ally steps in to save the day. Season premiere.

Bob’s Burgers: “Full Bars” – Oct. 7 at 8:30pm on FOX. The Belcher kids break their Halloween tradition by ditching their usual trick-or-treating route and venturing off to Kingshead Island, a posh neighborhood that is known for distributing full-sized candy bars. Meanwhile, Bob and Linda attend Teddy’s annual “Black and Orange” party.

Halloween Wars Season 2 – Sundays at 9pm beginning Oct. 7  on Food Network. The series returns for a new season. In four episodes, five teams — each composed of a pumpkin-carving expert, a cake artist and a candy craftsman — battle to create mind-blowing Halloween-themed displays out of pumpkin, cake and sugar. Their creations are judged by renowned cake decorator Shinmin Li and horror legend Tom Savini, and after each battle, one team is sent home. In the end, the winning team gets a $50,000 grand prize. All four episodes of Season 2 will air in a marathon Oct. 31.

Halloween Crazier – Oct. 7 at 10pm on Travel Channel. This one-hour special features the most terrifying and absolute best of what Halloween has to offer. From the PennHurst Asylum – a mental hospital turned haunted house – in Spring City, PA, to running for your life at the 5K Zombie Race in Darlington, MD, this special reveals some of the nation’s most extreme Halloween activities. But there’s more to the holiday than just ghosts and goblins, as viewers will get to experience a pumpkin race in Manhattan Beach, CA, a pumpkin regatta in Damariscotta, ME and a visit to Providence, RI – a town with so many lit jack-o-lanterns they may break a world record.

Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman – Oct. 8 at 4pm on The Hub. Strange things are happening in the Chipmunks’ neighborhood after their spooky new neighbor moves in. When sweet little Theodore starts exhibiting puppy-like behavior, they suddenly find themselves in the middle of a real-life Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein – Oct. 8 at 6pm on The Hub. Alvin, Simon and Theodore return in a send-up of the classic monster movie. The three mischievious brothers discover that Dr. Frankenstein and his monster inhabit a famous movie studio.

Soup of “The Walking Dead” – Oct. 10 at 10pm on E! In this episode of The Soup, Daryl and Glenn from The Walking Dead find that zombies have invaded the E! offices. As they try to escape, they run into Robert Kirkman and Lou, the zombie Chihuahua.

Doc McStuffins: “Boo-Hoo to You/It’s Glow Time” – Oct. 12 at 10am on Disney Channel. Doc and the toys help a pop-up toy ghost overcome his fear of Halloween, and Doc diagnoses Donny’s toy glow-in-the-dark monster with “No-glow-atosis” in this Halloween-themed episode.

Girl Vs. Monster – Oct. 12 at 8pm on Disney Channel. Kickin’ It star Olivia Holt is in this new original movie as a teen with some serious vocals and some pretty cool monster-fighting techniques. The film includes plenty of music, scares and themes of courage, independence and friendship, as 15-year-old Skylar learns she is a fifth generation monster hunter. When she attempts to sneak out of the house, she accidentally unleashes a monster that is determined to change the fate of her family forever. Now, it’s up to her and her friends to channel their inner strength and conquer more than just this monster.

Dead Souls – Oct. 12 at 9pm on Chiller. For his 18th birthday, Johnny Petrie (Jesse James) learns some surprising news: Not only was he adopted, but he also has inherited his birth family’s abandoned farm in Maine. Eager for a new life, Johnny starts over in this new dwelling, but as he digs into his past, he soon uncovers horrifying details of his birth father’s questionable studies, and finds that his return has revived decades-old forces trapped in the home.

A Haunting – Fridays at 10pm starting Oct. 12 on Destination America. The spooky series “comes back from the dead,” as it were, for a fifth season, on a new network (it previously aired on Discovery Channel), as it tells more first-person accounts of families traumatized by paranormal forces.

Scary Godmother – Halloween Spooktacular – Oct. 13 at 5pm on Cartoon Network. This hour-long CGI special follows the first trick-or-treating adventure of Hannah Marie, a young girl whose older, meaner cousin babysits her one dark Halloween night. Hannah’s cousin cooks up a scheme to frighten her, but the scheme backfires when Hannah gets help from her Scary Godmother and her quirky monster friends.

Goosebumps: “Welcome to the Dead House” – Oct. 13 at 5pm on The Hub. Josh and Amanda don’t like the spooky house their parents just bought, and the people in the new neighborhood are weird. But there will be plenty of time for Josh and Amanda to make friends, because these neighbors want them to live in Dark Falls forever.

Scary Godmother II: The Revenge of Jimmy – Oct. 13 at 6pm on Cartoon Network. Monster-phobic Jimmy hopes that getting rid of candy and costumes will put an end to Halloween. Scary Godmother and her creepy pals, the Fright Sight Gang, will have seen their last Halloween if Jimmy succeeds in erasing the day he despises most from the calendar. Unless Hannah can stop him, everything creepy, weird and spooky will vanish forever.

R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series: “Grampires” – Oct. 13 at 6pm on The Hub. In the season premiere, Mike and his sister Cristen pay a surprise visit to their grandfather (Christopher Lloyd) in his creepy new Sunset Estates retirement community, only to discover that something is not quite right with Grandpa and his nocturnal neighbors. It eventually leads to a showdown at the bingo hall with an entire community of vampires.

American Horror House – Oct. 13 at 9pm on Syfy. On Halloween night, a sorority house is overrun with ghosts, while a vengeful housemother goes on a killing spree, in this Syfy original movie. Morgan Fairchild and Alessandra Torresani (Caprica) star.

AMC Fearfest – Oct. 13-31 on AMC. Celebrating its 16th year, Fearfest offers 19 straight days of themed programming and more than 70 films. Fearfest, hosted by Kevin Smith, will encompass the Season 3 premiere of The Walking Dead on Oct. 14. Among the films making their premieres on AMC during Fearfest are Pumpkinhead (Oct. 19); Jason X (Oct. 20); and Land of the Dead (Oct. 21).

The Walking Dead Season 3 – Oct. 14 at 9pm on AMC. The smash zombie drama returns for Season 3, in which the survivors learn that there might be more to fear from the living than the dead. The series introduces two new characters to the mix — the sword-wielding Michonne (Danai Gurira) and the maniacal tyrant The Governor (David Morrissey). Oh, and Merle (Michael Rooker) is back.

A Scooby-Doo Halloween – Oct. 15 at 2:30pm on Cartoon Network. The gang visits Velma’s relatives during a Halloween festival headlined by KISS, but the festivities are interrupted by the ghost of the town’s founder and a bevy of living scarecrows.

Regular Show: “Regular Show Presents Terror Tales of the Park II” – Oct. 15 at 8pm on Cartoon Network; replay Oct. 31 at 5pm. Mordecai and Rigby are driving to a Halloween party and tell scary stories to pass the time.

Dear Dracula – Oct. 16 at 7pm on Cartoon Network. Unwilling to wait until Christmas so he can write to Santa, Sam decides to write to Dracula for Halloween instead. Much to his surprise, Dracula personally responds, showing up at Sam’s doorstep and turning his life upside down.

Billy and Mandy’s Jacked Up Halloween – Oct. 17 at 3pm on Cartoon Network. Jack, a headless prankster from Grim’s past, uses Billy to steal Grim’s scythe so he can destroy Grim and then take over the world with demons from the Netherworld.

American Horror Story: “Asylum” – Wednesdays at 10pm starting Oct. 17 on FX. Get ready for another season of twisted thrills as American Horror Story kicks off its second go-round, this time telling a tale set at a home for the criminally insane in 1964 New England. Jessica Lange, Frances Conroy, Evan Peters and Zachary Quinto return to the cast (playing different characters), and are joined by newcomers Chloë Sevigny, James Cromwell, Adam Levine, Joseph Fiennes, Lizzie Brocheré, Clea Duvall and Jenna Dewan-Tatum.

13 Nights of Halloween – Oct. 19-31 on ABC Family. ABC Family’s annual programming event will air for the 14th year and feature a range of programming, including a new episode of Pretty Little Liars that will guest-star “glampire” Adam Lambert (Oct. 23), as well as the season finale of Switched at Birth. The stunt will also feature the basic cable premiere of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (Oct. 28), and the ABC Family premiere of Monster House (Oct. 25).

The Haunted Pumpkin of Sleepy Hollow – Oct. 19 at 2pm on The Hub. It’s Halloween, and friends Nick and Katie are on a mission to find the biggest and best pumpkin in the patch. Unfortunately, the pumpkin they choose is haunted by the ghost of the Headless Horseman — and he wants his head back.

R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series: “The Cast” – Oct. 20 at 6pm on The Hub. Desperate to be cool, Lex (Robert Capron, Diary of a Wimpy Kid) pulls a prank on the neighborhood cat lady, getting caught and breaking his arm in the process. To save himself, he rats out his friends, and soon it’s more than guilt that’s gnawing at him.

Nadia G’s Bitchin’ Halloween Special – Oct. 21 at 8pm on Cooking Channel. Nadia G creates a feast that is just as scary as it is delicious as she discusses some strange Halloween traditions, dishes on bad costumes and shares her worst fears. She celebrates her favorite (un)holiday – Halloween – with aptly named Creepy Bocconcini Eyeballs wrapped in Prosciutto Flesh; Maggot Salad;Vegetarian Coffin Sandwiches; Bracciole Severed Arm; “Blood” Marinara; and Toffee Designer Candied Apples with Maldon Salt. Panos talks flank steak, The Spice Agent reports on pimento and Maldon salt and Hans yaps about healthy alternatives to candy.

Goosebumps Marathon – Oct. 22 from 4-8pm on The Hub. As a special tribute to the 20th anniversary of R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps books, The Hub airs a four-hour marathon of Goosebumps episodes, including “Night of the Living Dummy II,” “Chillogy Part 1 — Squeal of Fortune,” “Night of the Living Dummy III,” “Scarecrow Walks at Midnight” and “Attack of the Jack-O-Lanterns.”

Annoying Orange: “Welcome to the Fruitmare” – Oct. 22 at 8:30pm on Cartoon Network. Orange is haunted by dreams of Teddy Juicer, the monster who juices from the inside while they sleep. It’s up to Orange to keep everyone on the fruit cart awake, but when his plan fails, he must dive back into dreamland.

The Amazing World of Gumball: “Halloween” – Oct. 23 at 7pm on Cartoon Network. Carrie takes Gumball, Darwin and Anais to a real haunted house party on Halloween.

Pretty Little Liars: “This Is a Dark Ride” – Oct. 23 at 8pm on ABC Family. Adam Lambert guest-stars in this episode in which the Rosewood Halloween Ghost Train is the perfect setting for all of A’s tricks and treats. Leading up to this new episode, all day long (starting at 7am) is a marathon of previous Pretty Little Liars episodes.

The Chew – Oct. 24 at 1pm on ABC. John Cena is guest, and for Halloween, the show goes behind the scenes of some of America’s favorite candies to see how they’re made.

The Middle: “Halloween III: The Driving” – Oct. 24 at 8pm on ABC. As Halloween approaches, the Hecks get quite the scare when Sue receives her learner’s permit, and it’s time for Frankie and Mike to teach her how to drive. But when a freaked-out Sue loses her nerve, she ends up running over Axl’s foot, which could put an end to his high school football career and his hopes for a scholarship. Meanwhile Axl looks forward to voting in his first election, and Brick undergoes an unexpected transformation when he eats too much Halloween candy.

Animal Practice: “The Two George Colemans” – Oct. 24 at 8pm on NBC. George (Justin Kirk) begins to feel threatened with Jill’s (guest star June Diane Raphael) strong new presence at the hospital. Annoyed by this increasing competition, George attempts to sabotage one of Jill’s operations. Meanwhile, Dorothy (JoAnna Garcia Swisher) takes on judging Crane Animal Hospital’s Halloween pet costume contest and struggles with the temptation to take a bribe.

The Neighbors: “Halloween-ween” – Oct. 24 at 8:30pm on ABC. Since arriving on Earth, the aliens – led by the Bird-Kersees – have viewed Halloween as a threat and have set up a barrier at the gates of Hidden Hills to prevent children dressed in costumes from entering the community. The Weavers, on the other hand, are excited about their first Halloween in the suburbs and want to open the gates of the community to celebrate. They do their best to explain the ritual of trick-or-treating to the aliens. Meanwhile, Marty and Debbie’s fears are realized when Amber, Max and Abby reject their family costume plans.

Guys With Kids: “Apartment Halloween” – Oct. 24 at 8:30pm on NBC. When the president of their co-op board, Miss Crane, passes away, domineering resident Lydia Allmendinger (guest star Marissa Jaret Winokur) takes her place, much to the guys’ chagrin. Using her newfound power, Lydia forbids Nick’s (Zach Cregger) annual Halloween hallway decorations, which leads him to take some drastic measures. Meanwhile, Gary (Anthony Anderson) and Marny (Tempestt Bledsoe) desperately want to buy Miss Crane’s old apartment to expand their living space and conspire to scare off any potential buyers.

Modern Family: “Open House of Horrors” – Oct. 24 at 9pm on ABC. Claire has overdone it in Halloweens past and the neighbors definitely don’t share her enthusiasm, so this year she’s being forced to tone it down and keep it “kid-friendly,” and Phil has an idea to hold an open house on Halloween night. Meanwhile, Mitch and Cam host a costume party while contending with Lily wondering who her real mom is, and Gloria’s pregnancy hormones are on overdrive, making her even more hotheaded than usual.

Suburgatory: “The Witch of East Chatswin” – Oct. 24 at 9:30pm on ABC. When Tessa convinces Dalia and the KKK (Kimantha, Kaitlyn and Kenzie) to come up with feminist inspired Halloween costumes, she finds herself the interest of the infamous East Chatswin witch (aka Paula), played by guest star Rachel Dratch. As it turns out Paula isn’t exactly what she seems. Meanwhile George and Noah dress up as each other, and Dallas invites George to be “Ken” to her “Barbie” — but he declines, not realizing that she is asking him out.

Up All Night: “Ma’am’d” – Oct. 25 at 8:30pm on NBC. After failing to get Chris’s (Will Arnett) attention, Reagan (Christina Applegate) worries that she is losing her romantic touch. A visit to the dentist (guest star Tony Hale) gives her a much needed confidence boost. Meanwhile, when Ava (Maya Rudolph) learns her neighbors aren’t so fond of her, she teams up with Walter (guest star Sean Hayes) to give the neighborhood a Halloween haunted house like they have never seen before.

The Office: “Here Comes Treble” – Oct. 25 at 9pm on NBC. It’s Halloween in the office and Andy (Ed Helms) invites his college a cappella group to perform, which leads to a confrontation with his frenemy Broccoli Rob (guest star Stephen Colbert). Meanwhile, Dwight (Rainn Wilson) finds evidence that a madman is loose in the office and tries to track him down, and the first meeting of Jim’s (John Krasinski) new job causes a fight with Pam.

Parks and Recreation: “Halloween Surprise” – Oct. 25 at 9:30pm on NBC. A new job offer for Ben (Adam Scott) causes Leslie (Amy Poehler) to contemplate their future. Meanwhile, Ron (Nick Offerman) and Andy (Chris Pratt) take Diane’s (guest star Lucy Lawless) girls out trick-or-treating, and Tom (Aziz Ansari) searches for a new business idea.

Sweet Genius: “Halloween Genius” – Oct. 25 at 10pm on Food Network. It is Halloween time, time for everyone’s favorite Sweet Genius to stir up some devilish trouble in his World of Desserts. Chef Ron’s first Halloween inspiration is bound to get the chefs’ blood racing, as they race to put together chocolate desserts from an Asian drink and dried fungi. In the second test, a haunting apparition inspires the chefs to use onions and a strongly flavored novelty candy to impress Chef Ron. Then, with $10,000 at stake, a creepy critter crawls on the scene to scare the chefs into action: Who will be most successful with black radishes and mini ice cream cones in the final test?

The Chew – Oct. 26 at 1pm on ABC. Vanessa Williams and Stacy London are guests, and Michael Symon prepares a special Halloween-themed “5 in 5.”

hoops&yoyo’s Haunted Halloween – Oct. 26 at 7pm on Hallmark Channel; encore 7:30pm Oct. 26. This half-hour animated special features the beloved pink kitty and green bunny, who have waited until the last minute to search for Halloween costumes. When their search leads them to the mall, hoops& yoyo find themselves locked in after closing. They soon discover they are not alone — the mall is actually haunted by monsters. Through a series of frighteningly ridiculous events, hoops&yoyo learn that the “monsters” aren’t monsters at all, in this family adventure.

Mockingbird Lane – Oct. 26 at 8pm on NBC. This is the pilot for the reimagined version of the classic 1960s sitcom The Munsters, now as a one-hour drama with a darker edge and tone. Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daisies, Heroes) is executive producer and wrote the script, which was directed by Bryan Singer (X-Men). In the series, Eddie Munster (Mason Cook) is a normal kid about to enter the horrors of puberty. Unfortunately, for him, becoming a teenager means that he will be growing hair all over his body every time the moon is full. His family is supportive, though, including his mom, Lily (Portia de Rossi), the daughter of Dracula; his dad, Herman (Jerry O’Connell), a variation on the Frankenstein monster; and Grandpa (Eddie Izzard), who happens to be Dracula himself. There is also “creepy” cousin Marilyn (Charity Wakefield), who’s the really odd one because she’s so completely normal.

My Ghost Story: Captured on Camera – Oct. 26 at 9pm on BIO Channel. In this new episode, four people who have stayed in a room where a shadowy figure watches from the corner have died, most violently. Plus: Investigators at a Gettysburg, Pa., farm capture a mist shaped like a Civil War soldier riding horseback; a 19th-century jail is haunted by a ghostly woman wearing a crown and holding a baby; spectral voices lure spirit investigators to the basement of a building built over Indian burial grounds; and an angry spirit knocks down a young boy at an old Alabama plantation haunted by slaves.

Grimm: “La Llorona” – Oct. 26 at 9pm on NBC; replays in Spanish Oct. 27 at 12am on Telemundo, and in English Oct. 27 at 1am on mun2. Grimm joins with Telemundo, mun2 and Universal Studios Hollywood’s “Halloween Horror Nights” in a cross-divisional event for this broadcast. The episode is inspired by the Latin American legend of La Llorona (“The Weeping Woman”). The tale tells of a distraught mother  who drowned her children and then herself. The ghost of the mother emerges from the water and is forced to haunt and terrorize the living. In the Grimm episode, detectives Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) and Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby) take on this otherworldly predator, believe to be La Llorona, which has abducted some of Portland’s children on Halloween. Kate del Castillo — star of Telemundo’s hit miniseries La Reina del Sur – guest-stars as Valentina Espinosa, a mysterious detective from New Mexico on an obsessive mission to uncover the truth about the disappearances. Following the NBC premiere of this Grimm episode in its regular time slot Oct. 26 at 9pm, it will air in Spanish on Telemundo at midnight late-night Oct. 26/early-morning Oct. 27, and in English on mun2 at 1am late-night Oct. 26/early-morning Oct. 27.

Blue Bloods: “Nightmares” – Oct. 26 at 10pm on CBS. When a knife-wielding attacker dressed as Baron Samedi, the Spirit of Death, stabs a man in costume on Halloween, Danny enters the world of voodoo. Meanwhile, DCPI Garrett opens up to Frank about a dark secret, and Erin and Nicky take Jack and Sean trick-or-treating.

“Fashion Police” Halloween Special -- Oct. 26 at 10pm on E! Joan, Kelly, George and guest host Kris Jenner don their Halloween garb in this special episode.

Haven: “Real Estate” – Oct. 26 at 10pm on Syfy. In this Halloween episode directed by Jason Priestley, Audrey (Emily Rose), Nathan (Lucas Bryant) and Duke (Eric Balfour) are trapped in Haven’s most infamous haunted house while investigating a mysterious murder. Secrets are revealed when their captor begins pitting them against each other. Iain Glen (Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey) guest-stars.

Ben 10 Omniverse: “So Long, and Thanks For All the Smoothies?” – Oct. 27 at 9am on Cartoon Network. When Ben and Rook investigate a mysterious alien ghost ship, they discover that Argit and the Vreedle Brothers are fighting for possession of a doomsday device.

Pound Puppies: “Nightmare on Pound Street” – Oct. 27 at 9am on The Hub. It’s Halloween, and while McLeish is charged with taking care of his bratty niece and nephew, the puppies have to place a sweet but scary-looking dog.

My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic: “Luna Eclipsed” – Oct. 27 at 10am on The Hub. It’s “Nightmare Night,” and the macabre celebrations are in full swing when Luna herself shows up in Ponyville, determined to change her frightening public image.

The Aquabats! Super Show!: “The Haunted Battle Tram!” – Oct. 27 at 12pm on The Hub. The Aquabats have to banish a ghost from the Battle Tram after MC Bat Commander steals a burrito from the cemetery.

Supernatural Marathon – Oct. 27 at 12pm-Oct. 28 at 12pm. 24 hours of episodes from the CW drama series about brothers (Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles) who battle paranormal forces.

R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series: “The Weeping Woman” – Oct. 27 at 6pm on The Hub. Rico Rodriguez (Modern Family) stars as a boy who learns the scary folk tale of a child-stealing river witch, “La Llorona.” He soon comes face to face with the terrifying creature and must defeat her in order to save his friends.

Celebrity Ghost Stories – Oct. 27 at 9pm on BIO Channel. In this new episode, Lewis Black describes taking a summer job in the Michigan woods, where he is visited by unseen entities that torment him at night; Meshach Taylor is visited by the ghost of an evil child predator who tries to lure him into the swamp near his home; and Samantha Harris and her friends visit the site of a mass murder during an overnight camping trip.

The Good Witch’s Charm – Oct. 27 at 9pm on Hallmark Channel. Catherine Bell and Chris Potter are back for the latest in this popular series of films about Cassie Nightingale (Bell) and the town she has enchanted. Cassie is now the town mayor and the mother of a newborn. She’s busy and not getting a lot of sleep. But her plans to take a much-needed family vacation are derailed by a sudden crime wave, the work of a nosy investigative reporter and the arrival of her estranged foster mother. It’s a peck of trouble for the Good Witch this time out.

Rise of the Zombies – Oct. 27 at 9pm on Syfy. Survivors of a zombie plague escape their island refuge (Alcatraz) when it’s overrun and risk the outside world to find a scientist who is rumored to have found a cure for the disease. Mariel Hemingway, LeVar Burton, Danny Trejo and French Stewart star.

The Haunting Of … – Oct. 27 at 10pm on BIO Channel. Series Premiere. This new original series features psychic-medium Kim Russo, who gives an exclusive look at celebrities who say they have had their lives changed by paranormal events. Each one-hour episode recounts celebrities’ encounters as they return to the site of their experience. During the journey, Russo will try to unlock the secrets that haunted each person on that day. Celebrities in the first season include Eric Mabius, Regis Philbin, Beverly Mitchell, Connie Stevens, Kelly Carlson, Chazz Palminteri, Michael Rapaport, Gina Gershon and Fairuza Balk.

Truth or Scare Marathon – Oct. 28 from 1-4pm on The Hub. A marathon of the series hosted by Michelle Trachtenberg that explored haunted houses, mythical beasts and ancient legends around the globe.

America’s Funniest Home Videos – Oct. 28 at  7pm on ABC. This Halloween-themed episode includes Tom playing “Head, Gut or Groin?”; a boy asking why his plump grandpa has a baby bump; and a montage devoted to dogs wearing ridiculous Halloween costumes.

The American Scream – Oct. 28 at 8pm on Chiller. This documentary is from the director/producer of the cult hit Best Worst Movie. It takes an unconventional look at the Halloween cultural phenomenon of homemade haunted houses and the enthusiasts behind the scenes. Filmed in the sleepy enclave of Fairhaven, Mass., the film follows the creative minds behind three local homemade haunts and their passionate efforts in igniting the town’s Halloween spirit each year.

MythBusters Halloween Episode – Oct. 28 at 8pm on Discovery Channel. In the first-ever MythBusters Halloween episode, the team tests a trio of terrifying tales. First, Adam and Jamie go bump in the night, finding out if a certain frequency of sound could convince people of paranormal activity. Then, they take on a grave concern, testing the movie myth that moving a dead body is easy. Meanwhile, Kari, Tory and Grant are on the scent as they test the mythical “smell of fear.” They get set for a night of frights, finding out if there really is an aroma of anxiety and, if there is, if it is pungent enough of ra human nose to sniff out.

666 Park Avenue: “A Crowd of Demons” – Oct. 28 at 10pm on ABC. As Olivia works to put the finishing touches on the lobby for the annual Drake Halloween costume gala, it brings to mind another memorable Halloween night in 1929, when murder and mayhem reigned in the building. However, now it’s Jane who finds herself in the crosshairs of the spirit from the suitcase.

A Very Venture Halloween – Oct. 28 at 11:30pm on Adult Swim. The Venture Family stars in this all-new Halloween-themed special of The Venture Bros., written by Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer, both of whom also provide voices for the special.

The Chew – Oct. 29 at 1pm on ABC. Guest Amy Sedaris crafts with Clinton Kelly; the show travels to the Pumpkin Regatta in Damariscotta, Maine, where contestants race inside their own hollowed-out pumpkins.

Truth or Scare Marathon – Oct. 29 from 4-6pm on The Hub. A two-hour marathon of four back-to-back episodes of the ghostly live-action series hosted by Michelle Trachtenberg (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) that explores haunted houses, mythical beasts and ancient legends around the globe.

Scare Tactics – Oct. 29 from 7pm-10:30pm on Syfy. Tracy Morgan hosts this special three-and-a-half-hour marathon of new Season 5 Scare Tactics episodes, featuring more hidden-camera pranks with a sci-fi/horror twist. In the season premiere, singer/actress Brooke Hogan makes her Scare Tactics debut as a ravenous zombie. Additionally, sexy witches convince a handyman to help them in an off-kilter ritual, and a repo man tries to avoid being turned into a human doll by a deranged shut-in.

Hawaii Five-0: “Mohai” – Oct. 29 at 10pm on CBS. It’s Halloween in Hawaii, and the clock is ticking when a grisly murder leads the team to a ritualistic killing, and evidence suggests that the killer will soon strike again.

Sabrina the Teenage Witch Marathon – Oct. 30 from 10am-noon on The Hub. Four back-to-back Halloween-themed episodes of the series that follows Sabrina Sellman (Melissa Joan Hart), a teenager with magical powers living with her two aunts, Hilda (Caroline Rhea) and Zelda (Beth Broderick), and their talking cat, Salem.

Raising Hope: “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell Me What To Do” – Oct. 30 at 8pm on FOX. It’s “Gay Christmas” — a.k.a. Halloween — and Sabrina (Shannon Woodward) asks Jimmy (Lucas Neff) to hang out with her gay best friend and his partner. But first, Jimmy asks Burt (Garret Dillahunt) to do some recon by spending time at the local gay bar. When Burt keeps going back to the bar, Virginia (Martha Plimpton) wonders if he’s enjoying his time there a little too much and tracks him down in costume on Halloween night.

Ben and Kate: “Scaredy Kate” – Oct. 30 at 8:30pm on FOX. Kate (Dakota Johnson) gets invited to her hot neighbor’s Halloween party, so BJ (Lucy Punch) tries to help Kate break free and be someone completely out of character for the night. Meanwhile, Ben (Nat Faxon) and Tommy (Echo Kellum) decide to stay home and hand out candy to the trick-or-treaters in hopes they’ll meet some hot moms, but the night takes a turn when Tommy unknowingly eats some of BJ’s “candy” from Amsterdam, and Kate bonds with Will (guest star Geoff Stults), a single father.

Happy Endings: “Sabado Free-Gante” – Oct. 30 at 9pm on ABC. Dave and Alex go apartment hunting, but their inability to commit to a place puts their real estate agent (guest star Rachael Harris) to the ultimate test. Meanwhile, Jane takes negotiations to crazy levels when she helps Penny shop for a car; professional freeloader Max shows a cash-strapped Brad how to spend the perfect Saturday in Chicago with no money at all; and the gang celebrates Halloween dressed as the legendary Jacksons. Rob Corddry guest stars as the Car Czar.

New Girl: “Halloween” – Oct. 30 at 9pm on FOX. Jess (Zooey Deschanel) gets a job as a zombie at a haunted house, but is more frightened of her changing feelings toward Sam (guest star David Walton). Then, Schmidt (Max Greenfield) and Cece (Hannah Simone) are (unfortunately) perfectly matched in the costumes they’re wearing, while Winston (Lamorne Morris) and Shelby (guest star Kalie Hawk) are worlds apart in theirs. Also, Nick (Jake Johnson) gets a visit from a former college crush (guest star Maria Thayer) who shows her affection in a scary way.

Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23: “Love and Monsters …” – Oct. 30 at 9:30pm on ABC. Halloween is June’s favorite holiday, and even more so this year now that she is single. However, when she discovers that Chloe plays elaborate Halloween “tricks” every year, June becomes consumed with stopping her before Chloe really hurts someone she might actually care about. Meanwhile, due to a deep-rooted childhood fear of Halloween, James throws his annual Halloween “Positivity” Party.

The Mindy Project: “Halloween” — Oct. 30 at 9:30pm on FOX. Josh (guest star Tommy Dewey) invites Mindy (Mindy Kaling) to a Halloween party, and Mindy stresses out about finding the perfect costume to impress him. Meanwhile, Danny (Chris Messina) and Jeremy (Ed Weeks) leave work early to finally take their driver’s license tests, much to Danny’s embarrassment.

The New Normal: “Para-New Normal Activity” – Oct. 30 at 10:30pm on NBC. Bryan (Andrew Rannells) is getting into the Halloween spirit by doing what he does every year — decorating the house so that it is the envy of the neighborhood and making his annual trip to the pumpkin patch with his bestie Nicole Richie to spot celebrities. Also, with the help of the ‘Sing’ make-up artist, Sam (guest star George Takei), Bryan dictates what everyone’s costumes are going to be. However, when he insists on a Here Comes Honey Boo Boo Halloween theme, David (Justin Bartha) rebels and defiantly sports a Tom Brady costume. Meanwhile, Goldie (Georgia King) is still struggling with the on-going custody battle for Shania. Later, Clay (Jayson Blair) makes a shocking announcement that puts Jane (Ellen Barkin) over the edge.

The Adventures of Chuck & Friends: “Ghost Stories: Charlie the Screwdriver” – Oct. 31 at 6:30am on The Hub. Before Chuck’s Halloween party, a mystery “ghost” leads Chuck and Friends on a spooky chase to discover who’s inside the costume.

Transformers Animated: “Along Came a Spider” – Oct. 31 at 8:30am on The Hub. While Bumblebee and Bulkhead are experiencing their first Halloween with Sari, they are confronted by the spider-like Decepticon Blackarachnia.

Monster Marathon Oct. 31 from 9am-9pm on Cartoon Network. A 12-hour marathon of spooky cartoons, including Scooby-Doo, Billy and Mandy, Johnny Test and Regular Show.

Transformer Rescue Bots: “The Haunting of Griffin Rock” – Oct. 31 at 9:30am on The Hub. Ghosts from Griffin Rock’s past start haunting and terrorizing its residents. While the Bots confront the frightening apparitions, the Burns family unravels the spooky mystery.

Halloween movie marathon – Oct. 31 from 9:30am-3am on Spike. Over 15 hours of horror movies, including Last House on the Left (2009), A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) and Stephen King’s It (1990).

The Haunted Pumpkin of Sleepy Hollow – Oct. 31 at 10am on The Hub. It’s Halloween, and friends Nick and Katie are on a mission to find the biggest and best pumpkin in the patch. Unfortunately, the pumpkin they choose is haunted by the ghost of the Headless Horseman — and he wants his head back.

The Price Is Right – Oct. 31 at 11am on CBS. This Halloween episode of the game show kicks off with a giant carnival, with host Drew Carey dressed as the carnival ringleader, and contestants playing in costume. George Gray, the contortionist, will announce spooky prizes, such as a trip to New Orleans for a ghost tour, as well as a trip to Rio de Janeiro for the biggest carnival in the world. Model Amber will dress up as a bearded lady, Rachel as a strongwoman and Manuela as a snake charmer — complete with real snakes.

Let’s Make a Deal – Oct. 31 on CBS daytime (check local listings). Host Wayne Brady appears in costume as Run DMC, with announcer Jonathan Mangum as a Star Trek character, model Tiffany Coyne as a hippie and keyboardist Cat Gray as a gorilla. Other show highlights include contestants bobbing for apples in exchange for cash and prizes, and Halloween-themed Zonks.

Sabrina The Teenage Witch: “The Halloween Scene” – Oct. 31 at 11am on The Hub. Sabrina creates the event of the year when she rents real monsters from the Other Realm to spice up her Halloween party.

Sabrina The Teenage Witch: “Murder on the Halloween Express” – Oct. 31 at 11:30am on The Hub. Sabrina takes her friends on the Halloween Mystery Train, but discovers too late that they’ve boarded the Other Realm Express.

Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman – Oct. 31 at 12pm on The Hub. Strange things are happening in the Chipmunks’ neighborhood after their spooky new neighbor moves in. When sweet little Theodore starts exhibiting puppy-like behavior, they suddenly find themselves in the middle of a real-life Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Hercules: The Legendary Journeys: “Darkness Visible” – Oct. 31 at 10pm on The Hub. Hercules and Iolaus are summoned by an old friend, Vlad, to fight vampires, only to discover that they are to be his next victims.

Face Off Live Season Finale – Oct. 31 Live at 10pm on Syfy. Season 3 of Syfy’s hit makeup competition series Face Off comes to a close tonight with this live broadcast from Los Angeles. Viewers will make the final choice for Season 3 champion via a live voting feature that will be available immediately following the Oct. 30 episode. McKenzie Westmore will host the special event and reunite the contestants, including the three finalists who will find out live if they garnered enough viewer votes to win the season.
