Champions Classic closes out ESPN’s College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon

Champions Classic at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta closes out ESPN’s College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon on Nov. 13 with Michigan State vs.  Kansas and Duke vs. Kentucky.

For the fifth year in a row, ESPN networks celebrate the opening of college basketball season with an all-day marathon of live game action from across the country, beginning at 12am ET on Tuesday, Nov. 13. ESPN has 11 men’s games beginning with the Old Spice Classic game between West Virginia and Gonzaga, and ending with the State Farm Champions Classic games at Atlanta’s Georgia Dome with Michigan State vs. Kansas and Duke vs. Kentucky. Four of the winningest programs in college basketball play in this tournament through 2013. In the inaugural event last year, Duke defeated Michigan State and Kentucky beat Kansas (in what would turn out to be a NCAA championship game preview). ESPN airs No. 14 Michigan State vs. No. 7 Kansas at 7pm ET and No. 8 Duke vs. No. 3 Kentucky at 9pm ET.
