Formula One racing returns to U.S. soil for the first time since 2007 when the F1 2012 U.S. Grand Prix takes place Nov. 18 at the brand new Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Drivers will do 56 laps around the 20-turn, 5.513 km (3.4 miles) circuit for a total race distance of 308.405 km (191.9 miles). Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen, Mark Webber, Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button lead the F1 standings heading into the penultimate race of the season.
