2013 BCS National Championship Game between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the defending national champion Alabama Crimson Tide takes place Monday, Jan. 7, on ESPN.

Two legendary college football programs collide at Sun Life Stadium in Miami as the No. 1 Notre Dame Fighting Irish take on the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2013 BCS National Championship Game on Monday, Jan. 7, beginning at 8:30pm ET on ESPN. Alabama is playing for a repeat title and the SEC’s seventh straight, while Notre Dame is playing for its first national championship since 1988. The deciding factor could be how well Alabama’s quarterback AJ McCarron and running backs T.J. Yeldon and Eddie Lacy perform against linebacker Monti T’eo and the stout Irish defense.
