Australian Open 2013 TV schedule on ESPN2 and Tennis Channel begins Jan. 13 with coverage from Melbourne Park.

UPDATE: ESPN has decided to move live coverage of the men’s semifinals and both the women’s and men’s championship matches from ESPN2 to ESPN. The encore presentations of those matches will remain on ESPN2. Live match schedule on ESPN is now:
Jan. 23 — Men’s Semifinal 1: Djokovic vs. Ferrer, 3:30am ET, ESPN (L)
Jan. 24 — Men’s Semifinal 2: Federer vs. Murray, 3:30am ET, ESPN (L)
Jan. 25 — Women’s Final, 3am ET, ESPN (L)
Jan. 26 — Men’s Final, 3am ET, ESPN (L)

The first Grand Slam of the tennis calendar takes place at Melbourne Park in Melbourne, Australia, as the world’s best tennis players head Down Under for the 2013 Australian Open. On the men’s side, Novak Djokovic looks for his third straight title, with Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Andy Murray and David Ferrer all trying to unseat him. On the women’s side, Victoria Azarenka won her first Grand Slam in last year’s Australian Open. She’ll try to hold off top challengers like Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams, Agnieszka Radwanska, Li Na, Caroline Wozniacki and Petra Kvitova. ESPN2 and Tennis Channel air the tournament Jan. 13-27. Coverage on ESPN2 begins Sunday, Jan. 13, at 6:30pm ET.
