Things couldn’t be going much better for Justin Timberlake on the eve of the release of his latest album, The 20/20 Experience, his third studio album and the first released since his musical hiatus. He has just come off a very well-received guest-hosting performance on Saturday Night Live that had Twitter buzzing, and each night this week he has been the musical guest on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. And that’s just the beginning of Justin Timberlake on your TV. Next Tuesday, March 19, The CW will be airing Target Presents the iHeartRadio Album Release Party With Justin Timberlake, a one-hour special featuring performances by and interviews with the star. The special will replay Friday, March 22.
Justin Timberlake’s live performance at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles will be filmed during a release party for The 20/20 Experience on Monday, March 18, a few days after the album’s release on March 15. The party will include a live, nationwide 30-minute on-air radio special, where Justin Timberlake will discuss the story behind the making of The 20/20 Experience and perform with his band.
The performance and the interviews will be recorded to air in the iHeartRadio Album Release Party With Justin Timberlake on The CW. The special will also feature the world premiere of Justin Timberlake’s eight-minute new music video related to The 20/20 Experience.
Target Presents the IHeartRadio Album Release Party With Justin Timberlake premieres March 19 at 8pm ET on The CW, with a replay March 22 at 8pm ET.
