Finola Hughes and Jason Thompson apparently brought some of the General Hospital drama with them to their tapings on Who Wants To Be a Millionaire, acting out a soap-inspired scene with Meredith Vieira that will be broadcast on the April 1 episode of Millionaire. The playful scene involves negligees, martinis and even a dramatic slap across the face.

General Hospital “superfans” were able to sit in the studio audience during the Who Wants To Be a Millionaire tapings and were treated to a surprise visit by another General Hospital fan favorite. That surprise guest will be revealed on the April 1 Millionaire as the person drops in to wish Finola Hughes and Jason Thompson luck on the show.

Finola Hughes and Jason Thompson are playing Who Wants To Be a Millionaire as a two-person team and will donate their winnings to The Art of Elysium, a non-profit organization that works closely with actors, artists and musicians, encouraging them to volunteer their time and talent to children battling serious medical conditions.

Finola Hughes and Jason Thompson are contestants on Who Wants To Be a Millionaire April 1 and April 2. The show airs in syndication; check your local listings for channel and air time.

General Hospital airs weekdays at 2pm ET/1pm PT/CT on ABC. The General Hospital 50th anniversary is April 1.
