What channel is FXX on? When does FXX launch? Programs on FXX

What channel is FXX on? When does FXX launch? Programs on FXX: FX is growing their brand — and hopefully audience — with the rollout of FXX on Monday, Sept. 2, 2013 at 7am ET/PT. FXX will officially replace Fox Soccer channel and be available in 72 million homes at launch. To quickly find what channel number FXX is on in your market, reference Fox Soccer’s current location or go to your cable/satellite company’s website and enter your zip code or go to the channel locator FXX posted on their site. At the Television Critics Association annual summer press tour, the casts of several of FX’s most popular comedies came to support the launch of FXX and their new home.

The programming mix for FXX will consist of many FX comedy favorites. “As far as FXX is concerned, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The League are both currently turning out some of the best episodes in their history and will anchor the new network,” says John Landgraf, CEO of FX. ”Totally Biased With W. Kamau Bell will become a nightly show and Legit will move to FXX in January. Also in January, FXX will launch a new animated series, Chozen, from Grant Dekernion, Danny McBride, Jody Hill and David Gordon Green.”

What channel is FXX on? Find Always Sunny In PhiladelphiaIt’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia returns for its ninth season on Wednesdays beginning Sept. 4, at 10pm ET/PT, and will air for 13 episodes. Sunny will also celebrate its 100th episode on Oct. 9. “I feel like we are doing our best work. I mean, I’m really, really proud of this season,” says Rob McElhenney, executive producer of the series. “We are nine years into it, but because, for the past few years, including our 10 in the future, we will have only done 10 episodes per season, which allows us to stay fresh and to continue to evolve.”

The League returns for its fifth season on Wednesdays beginning Sept. 4 at 10:30pm ET/PT with 13 episodes. “I think this season we are doing a few things differently. Well, one, as we left last season, Andre (Paul Scheer) and Trixie (Jayma Mays) were engaged. So we are picking up right where that left off, with a wedding. And I think Andre and Trixie are preparing the most labor-intensive, guest-unfriendly wedding on the planet,” says Jeff Schaeffer, executive producer. Schaeffer credits a new season and social networking in changing the dynamics when it comes to getting players and agents to appear on the show. “There are more NFL players that big, high caliber, you know, high fantasy draft pick players who want to be on the show that we can realistically write into the show.”

Totally Biased With W. Kamau Bell is expanding to five nights a week beginning Sept. 4, airing Monday through Thursday nights at 11pm ET/PT, with Best of the Week compilation episodes Sunday nights at 11m ET/PT. “We had a pretty robust writing staff,” Kamau says. “FX was always preparing us, I think, for the idea of FXX and the daily show. So we hired three more writers. Really, it’s all the production people. I think we, like, tripled our staff of production people just because the machine has to be a lot bigger to pull that off. A lot of the writers on the show who have been on the show doing correspondence pieces will now be doing a lot of the man‑on‑the‑street pieces and other pieces that I’ve done in addition to me doing them. The real part is that everybody has to sort of pick up a little bit more of the work. I’m excited about that because I feel like what Totally Biased can be, I’ve only, sort of, seen a little bit that it hints of in the first 26 episodes. I feel like, if we are on a daily show, we will really get there a lot faster.”
