Elisabeth Hasselbeck makes FOX & Friends debut Sept. 16

Following her departure from The View in July, Elisabeth Hasselbeck begins her new role at FOX News Channel (FNC) as cohost of the FOX & Friends morning show beginning Monday, Sept. 16, at 6am ET. (Gretchen Carlson’s last day as cohost before moving to the FOX News afternoon lineup was today, Sept. 13.)

Alongside cohosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade, Elisabeth Hasselbeck will interview key newsmakers, celebrities and politicians for FOX & Friends, and she will also engage in a “combination of lively topical discussions and casual and spontaneous dialogue while highlighting the latest headlines of the day,” according to a FOX News Channel release.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s debut with FOX & Friends kicks off with a weeklong series featuring the cast of A&E’s hit reality show Duck Dynasty (pictured). Hasselbeck and her cohosts took a trip to Louisiana, where they met the Robertson clan for a tour of the Duck Commander headquarters, learned to make duck calls, ate dinner with the cast and got a cooking lesson.

And Elisabeth Hasselbeck won’t be the only new addition to FOX & Friends starting Monday. The network says that starting Sept. 16, FOX & Friends will come to viewers from a redesigned set that will be unveiled that morning.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck makes her FOX & Friends debut starting Sept. 16. FOX & Friends airs weekdays from 6am-9am ET on FOX News Channel.
