16-Year MLB Veteran Mark DeRosa Joins TBS as Guest Studio Analyst

TBS will begin its extensive coverage of the 2013 MLB Postseason with the exclusive presentation of the Wild Card presented by Budweiser when the Cincinnati Reds visit the Pittsburgh Pirates in the National League Wild Card Game on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 8 p.m. ET. On Wednesday, Oct. 2, the Cleveland Indians will host the winner of the Tampa Bay Rays/Texas Rangers tiebreaker in the American League Wild Card Game at 8 p.m. ET. Ernie Johnson will call the Reds vs. Pirates game with analysts Ron Darling and Cal Ripken and reporter Craig Sager. Brian Anderson will provide commentary for the Rays/Rangers vs. Indians game with analysts John Smoltz and Joe Simpson and reporter Rachel Nichols.

Coverage both nights will begin at 7 p.m. with the MLB Postseason Pre-Game on TBS presented by Jeep show hosted by Keith Olbermann with analysts Pedro Martinez and Tom Verducci, along with commentary and insights from Dirk Hayhurst. Additionally, MLB veteran Mark DeRosa of the Toronto Blue Jays will join the TBS studio as a guest analyst Tuesday, Oct. 1, through Thursday, Oct. 3. DeRosa, who has 16 years of Major League experience, won a World Series with the San Francisco Giants in 2010.

• Detroit Tigers vs. Oakland Athletics – Don Orsillo (play-by-play), Dennis Eckersley and Buck Martinez (analysts) with David Aldridge (reporter)
• A.L. Wild Card vs. Boston Red Sox – Brian Anderson (play-by-play), Joe Simpson and John Smoltz (analysts) with Rachel Nichols (reporter)
