Making his debut with beIN SPORT just in time for El Clasico is Hugo Sanchez — famed Real Madrid and Mexican international player — who will help cover the match. Sanchez was top scorer in the Spanish league for a record five seasons, was European Golden Boot winner in the 1989-90 season with Real Madrid, and was named to Real Madrid’s All Time Greatest XI.
“beIN SPORT couldn’t be more enthusiastic about having a legend such as Hugo Sanchez join the network,” said Yousef Al-Obaidly, managing director of beIN SPORT. “Sanchez was just named as La Liga’s ambassador to the Americas, and we are excited to build off this momentum to have him on our network, especially for a worldwide event such as El Clásico.”
