The 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics conclude with the closing ceremony, typically less formal than the opening ceremony and having more of a party-like atmosphere as the world’s best winter athletes celebrate a successful Games. The pageantry includes the extinguishing of the Olympic cauldron and the passing of the Olympic flag to South Korea, which will host the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. On Sunday, Feb. 23, at 7pm ET, NBC recaps the Games with the special Sochi Gold. The closing ceremony airs on NBC at 8pm ET, with an encore presentation at 11:30pm ET.
