Casting call for “Summer Time Share” seeks teens and single parents

An official casting call for Summer Time Share — the next “major network” docu/reality series — was made from Doron Ofir Casting. If you are a teen with a single parent or a single parent with a teen and would love the opportunity to be whisked away on a summer you’ll surely remember (and possibly the rest of the world, too) — now’s your chance.

casting call for Summer Time Share, new docu/reality series that is seeking teens and single parentsDoron Ofir Casting is currently casting for Summer Time Share and describes the adventure as: “a perfect opportunity for single parents and their teenage kids to embark on an idyllic summertime adventure, meet new people, and make new friends that will last a lifetime. Spend the lazy days of summer basking in the sun, grilling, boating, splashing in the waves; sharing those warm summer nights partying, dancing, and living it up with like-minded social singles and their teens.  For all you single parents, if you’re ready for that perfect summer getaway, we’re looking for you.”

Sounds good so far, right?

Here are some of the details for parents:
• you need to be a single parent, U.S. resident and never been convicted of a felony
• you need to have at least one child between the ages of 14-20
• you need to be available to spend 4-6 weeks away from home during the summer of 2014 (Since most single parents work … good luck getting that cleared with your employer!)
• you or your family can’t be in the business (the official site lists all the particulars) or a candidate or potential candidate for public office.
Parents will need to elaborate on their relationship with their teen, activities you do together and describe your child’s general personality (the good, the bad and the ugly). Plus you’ll need to answer questions like: “If you wanted to ‘get’ the man/woman you liked, what would you do to win the person’s attention?” and “What is something about you that no one would know just by looking at you?”

Here are some of the details for teens:
• You need to be between the ages of 14-20, a U.S. resident and also free of any felonies
•  You need to be available to spend 4-6 weeks away from home during the summer of 2014
• Plus all the same stuff on not being in the business and not running for office as your parent would be bound to
Teens don’t have as many detailed questions to answers as the parent application, which leads me to believe the focus might be more on the single parent and how the teen reacts to potential suitors, but anything’s possible in today’s reality world craze.

Good luck and let us know if you get cast!

  1. My father and I did minute to win it about 2 years ago and absolutely loved it. My father and I work well together but also have interesting family drama. This would be a great opportunity
