AXS TV airs live coverage of Coachella performances

The second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will be broadcast live for the first time when AXS TV airs coverage of various performances April 18-20, at 9pm ET each night. AXS TV’s broadcast is hosted by KCRW music director and DJ Jason Bentley, and encompasses over 20 hours of live coverage, spanning five stages of the festival.

Featured in AXS’ Friday coverage are Ellie Goulding, Grouplove, Bastille, AFI, Neko Case, Broken Bells, Chromeo, Kate Nash, HAIM, ZZ Ward and Bryan Ferry. Friday’s coverage will re-air Saturday, April 19, at 2pm ET.

Saturday’s evening broadcast lineup includes Lorde (pictured performing during the first weekend of Coachella), Cage the Elephant, CHVRCHES, The Head and the Heart, Capital Cities, Future Islands, Fatboy Slim, MGMT, The Pixies, Queens of the Stone Age and Foster the People. Saturday’s coverage re-airs Sunday, April 20, at 2pm ET.

Finally, the weekend comes to a close on Sunday with Arcade Fire, Beck, Skrillex, Pet Shop Boys, Big Gigantic, Daughter, NAS, Fishbone, Frank Turner and Calvin Harris, with coverage re-airing Monday, April 21, at 2pm ET.
