Season One, Episode 101: “Pilot”
Hank MacGyvers surgery on Tucker with a bottle of vodka, an X-Acto knife, sandwich baggie, bic pen, and duct tape.

Season One, Episode 104: “TB or Not TB”
Hank MacGyvers a warming therapy for stroke victim Allison out of napkins, table cloths, aprons, foil, and a hair-dryer.

Season One, Episode 111: “Nobody’s Perfect”
Hank/Divya/Evan use sailing pulleys, rigging, and fishing gear to pull a patient’s collapsed chest wall back into place.

Season Two, Episode 205: “Mano a Mano”
Hank uses dental floss to free Marcos’ finger trapped in farm machinery—his ring is holding the machinery apart but his finger is too swollen to pull out of the ring. Hank uses dental floss to compress the swelling to pull the finger out of the ring and gears.

Season Two, Episode 206: “In Vino Veritas”
Hank uses copper tubing, wire, a welding oxygen tank, and duck tape (sterilized with grappa) to intubate Oliver.

Season Three, Episode 302: “But There’s A Catch”
Hank uses a rope, biking gloves, and a heavy-duty stapler to MacGyver a way to relocate Keller’s broken arm.

Season Three, Episode 303: “Rash Talk”
Hank MacGyvers an atomizer out of a grape to inject medicine into a patient’s nose.

Season Four, Episode 404: “Dawn of the Med”
Hank uses a Camelbak hydration backpack, an empty water bottle, and gum to create a vacuum to clear blockage from a patient’s throat.

Season Four, Episode 413: “Something Fishy This Way Comes”
Hank uses maggots (controlled with a tea strainer) to eat the dead flesh off a patient’s leg, as the patient is suffering from flesh eating bacteria.

Season Four, Episode 415: “Off-Season Greetings”
Hank uses wire cutters to cut through a fake hollow candy cane to insert as an air tube into Nick. Then Hank uses a string of Christmas lights and a laptop charger cord to make an informal pacemaker.

Season 5, Episode 508: “Hammertime”
Divya uses sunblock, a paper clip, and a pen to pull a wedding ring off Bert’s swollen finger (the result of post-streptococcal glomerulonephritis).

Season 5, Episode 510: “Game of Phones”
In Italy, Divya uses the Capsaicin in Calabrian peppers to relieve Gino’s post-herpetic neurolgia.
