First Televised Little People Weddings

Los Angeles, CA (July 15, 2014) – Lifetime confirms that little is the next big thing!  The network has renewed its popular docu-series Little Women: LA (#LittleWomenLA) for a second season.  The series, which chronicles the adventures of a unique group of girlfriends with big hearts, big personalities and even bigger drama…who all happen to be little people.

Little Women: LA’s first season will conclude next Tuesday, July 22, at 10pm PT/ET.  Featuring stars Christy McGinity and Todd Gibel’s spectacular, heartwarming and emotional wedding, next week’s episode marks one of the first ever televised little people nuptials.

Since its May 27th launch, season-to-date Little Women: LA has posted major growth, including a +66% leap among Total Viewers versus premiere, +104% in Women 18-49, 95% with Adults 18-49, +87% in Women 25-54 and +79% in Adults 25-54.  Last week’s episode of Little Women: LA reached a series high 1.4 million Total Viewers.

Little Women: LA follows longtime girlfriends Terra Jole, Tonya Banks, Elena Gant, Christy McGinity, Briana Manson and Traci Harrison.  They laugh, cry, compete and fight with one another, but through it all they share a special unbreakable bond.  And, while dealing with everyday challenges like the rest of the world, they prove that height is just a number. There’s nothing small about this loud and proud group who can teach us all a lesson or two about living life to the fullest.

Little Women: LA is produced by Kinetic Content. Chris Coelen (The Taste), Karrie Wolfe (Married at First Sight), Katie Griffin (You Deserve It), Kathleen Burns (Betty White’s Off Their Rockers) and Terra Jole serve as executive producers, along with Lifetime’s Eli Lehrer, Mary Donahue and Mariana Flynn.

Congratulations ladies!  I can’t wait to see what happens next!
