What’s It All About? Wide-eyed Dana (Tipton) just moved from Atlanta to New York City to start her career in the soul-sucking world of publishing. Jaded lifelong New Yorker Peter (McDorman) works for his father’s trophy business, which is booming thanks to America’s “celebration of mediocrity.” Peter’s brother David (Wright) — essentially a wisecracking bearded best friend — sets up Peter and Dana on a blind date. All this time, the audience gets to hear what’s really on Peter and Dana’s minds as their internal monologues get narrated. Unfortunately, the device plays a little too Look Who’s Talking Too to add anything interesting to Manhattan Love Story.
