Episode guide for On the Menu, where to taste winning dishes

When and where can you taste the winning recipes for On the Menu? Below is an episode guide for On the Menu and links to each of the restaurants featured this season. TNT is introducing us to the first cooking competition series where viewers actually get to taste each week’s winning dish in On the Menu, which airs Fridays at 8pm ET/PT. Ty Pennington (Trading Spaces and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition) hosts the series and legendary chef Emeril Lagasse lends his expertise to the everyday cooks who are vying for the chance to have their dish served at these major restaurant chains. The day after each episode, you can go to the featured restaurant below and try the winning dish.

Here’s the episode guide for On the Menu and where you can taste the winning recipes:

Chili’s – Friday, Oct. 3, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT)
For more than 35 years Chili’s has been serving up their signature baby back ribs and spicy flare. The restaurant chain is located throughout the US. To find a restaurant in your area click here.

Denny’s – Friday, Oct. 10, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT)
You better know Denny’s, these guys have been around forever — well, 60 years or so, and are known for their 24/7 always open diner, where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner at anytime. To find a Denny’s close to you, use their restaurant finder.

California Pizza Kitchen – Friday, Oct. 17, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT)
CPK is known for it’s authentic California-style cuisine. Since opening their first restaurant in Beverly Hills in 1985, the restaurant has expanded to more than 250 locations in more than 30 states and 11 countries. Here’s a link to a restaurant locator.

Planet Hollywood – Friday, Oct. 24, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT)
This touristy chain isn’t as widespread as the earlier establishments, so it’s going to take some effort if you plan to hit up all the locales. Planet Hollywood was established in 1991 as the entertainment authority and destination — with most notable original partners and stockholders being Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone.

Emeril’s Restaurant – Friday, Oct. 31, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT)
Of course the legendary chef himself, Emeril Lagasse, is going to bring his culinary empire into the mix. It’s unknown, as of press time, whether all 13 of his restaurants will be serving the winning dish, but more to come later. Here’s a link to his restaurants and locations.

The Cheesecake Factory – Friday, Nov. 7, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT)
In the late 1940s, Oscar and Evelyn Overton opened a small cheesecake shop in Detroit. It wasn’t until 1972, after their children were grown, that they moved to Los Angeles and opened a 700 square foot store, which they called The Cheesecake Factory. The factory later led to a restaurant, and now — over 40 years later — The Cheesecake Factory is in over 170 locations.

Cabo Wabo/Sammy’s Beach Bar & Grill – Friday, Nov. 14, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT)
Legendary rocker Sammy Hagar started with two primo ingredients – tequila and Cabo San Lucas — and he turned that into his Cabo Wabo Cantina and, later, Sammy’s Beach Bar & Grill franchises. Although not as widespread as some of the other establishments, you’ll be able to check out the winning dish (or maybe even cocktail) at  Cabo Wabo Cantina and Sammy’s Beach Bar & Grill.

Outback Steakhouse – Friday, Nov. 21, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT)
Outback Steakhouse is an Australian themed steakhouse, that’s not afraid to throw another shrimp or some chicken on its barbie. Home of that deliciously-evil, deep-fried bloomin’ onion, the restaurant opens its doors for another menu item via On The Menu. Here’s a link for restaurant locations.

Buca di Beppo – Friday, Nov. 28, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT)
I’ve always had a good time at Buca’s so happy to see this part of the mix. Buca di Beppo was derived around the spirit of Italian culture, so dishes are meant to be shared and served family-style in very generous proportions. Here’s a link for restaurant locations.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit – Friday, Dec. 5, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT)
In 1941, Travis Dickey opened the first Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Dallas, Texas. The business stayed with the family and expanded throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area in the late 1960s, and in 1994 franchising began and was met with great success. Today, every location smokes all of their meats on-site at the restaurant the same way it was done in 1941. Here’s a link for restaurant locations.
