Broadway Bride: Sutton Foster goes for the gown on tonight’s Say Yes to the Dress

Broadway babies and Bunheads fans, you don’t want to miss tonight’s all-new Say Yes to the Dress, premiering at 9/8CT on TLC. Tony-winner and Critics Choice nominee Sutton Foster visits the Kleinfeld Bridal team seeking the perfect gown for her wedding to Ocean’s Eleven screenwriter Ted Griffin (the pair wed Oct. 25 in Santa Barbara).

Foster scored Tony awards for her performances in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie and additional nominations for Violet, Shrek The Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Women. She is currently filming the upcoming TVLand original series Younger.

The single-camera comedy — created by Sex and the City’s Darren Star and based on the novel by Pamela Redmond Satran — will premiere January 13. And further heads-up fashionistas — Sex‘s legendary costumer Patricia Field serves as wardrobe consultant.

Younger follows the travails of 40-year-old single mom Liza (Foster) whose chance encounter with a much younger man helps her realize she can pass for a twentysomething, too.  With the help of a makeover from her best bud Maggie (Debi Mazar, Entourage) Liza passes herself off as 26 to land the job of her dreams. But can she keep up the ruse? Hilary Duff and Miriam Shor costar.
