CBS pays tribute to announcer Verne Lundquist with a one-hour documentary special In Your Life, airing Saturday, Nov. 29, at 1:30pm ET.

This documentary special celebrates Verne Lundquist’s 50 years in broadcasting. Since joining CBS Sports in 1982, Lundquist has called some of the most memorable moments in sports, including Jack Nicklaus’ famous birdie putt at the 1986 Masters, Christian Laettner’s buzzer-beater in the 1992 NCAA Tournament and Auburn’s stunning defeat of Alabama in last year’s college football Iron Bowl.

  1. Will you be showing this again? Had no idea it was on until referred to by Verne during the football game!

  2. Enjoyed the show—–is it available on dvd? My husband would love to see this. We live in Steamboat Springs area and proud to be a part of his history.

    • Great show: I love watching any sport in which Vern is doing. He and Daniels are by far the best football team, bar none.
      I would like to see this again as our local TV Station in Huntsville, AL interrupted a portion of the show. I would love to DVR this and invite friends over to see it.
