2015 Australian Open Finals TV schedule

The 2015 Australian Open finals are shaping up to be epic, with Serena Williams vs. Maria Sharapova on the women’s side early Saturday morning and Novak Djokovic vs. Andy Murray in the men’s final early Sunday morning. On paper, Williams holds a big advantage over Sharapova, going 16-2 head-to-head (2-1 in Grand Slam finals) and winning 15 straight against her. Sharapova hasn’t beaten Williams since 2004, and is 5-4 in Grand Slam finals. Williams is going for her 19th Grand Slam title, while Sharapova seeks her sixth. On the men’s side, Djokovic is 4-0 in Australian Open finals, and meets Murray for the third time in the finals. Djokovic is 15-8 overall vs. Murray and has won seven of their last eight matches.

The Australian Open men’s championship matchup will be finalized tonight when No. 1 seed and four-time champion Novak Djokovic plays No. 4 and defending champion Stan Wawrinka live on ESPN at 3:30 a.m. The winner will face No. 6 Andy Murray late Saturday at 3 a.m. (midnight PT) on ESPN (encore presentation Sunday at 9 a.m. on ESPN2).
