Golf Channel’s Altered Course goes the whole 700 yards

Altered Course

Golf Channel’s new reality competition series Altered Course combines golf, speed, fitness and strategy as teams have to quickly navigate reimagined and extreme golf holes in excess of 700 yards. Eight two-person teams race against the clock — scored on strokes and time — with weekly eliminations leaving one winning duo standing. The series premieres Monday, June 15, at 9pm ET.

The first season of Altered Course takes place in Montego Bay, Jamaica, at the Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall Resort, with the competition at White Witch and Cinnamon Hill golf courses. Kristen Kenney hosts.

  1. Maybe the worst show on the Golf Channel. Not sure what they where trying to accomplish. Would much prefer to watch the old re-runs of the Wonderful world of Golf by Shell. What next, have them wear football gear? Lost me as a viewer during this show. Could we ever think of Arnold Palmer, Ben Hogan, Jack Nicholas, etc. ever on this show. Might as well had them running around with a soccer ball and a garden hoe.
