For the 100th Disney Channel original movie, the kid-centric network is re-envisioning a family favorite. Adventures in Babysitting is the story of a night of childcare gone horribly — and hilariously — wrong. Disney stars Sabrina Carpenter (Girl Meets World) and Sofia Carson (Descendants) team up in this new family comedy that will feature several scenes reminiscent of the original 1987 movie, which starred Elisabeth Shue. As part of its celebration of Black History Month, Disney will premiere a new installment of its interstitial series, “Be Inspired,” featuring actor Cameron Boyce and his personal connection to “The Clinton 12” — the twelve African-American teens who were the first to integrate a southern public school in 1956.
