It’s official, kittens! RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 2 is going to happen. According to the release on New Now Next, it will air AFTER season 8 of Drag Race. Now, Ru won’t tell us who is going to be on All Stars until he’s sufficiently milked that for all it’s worth. But that ain’t gonna stop us from speculating, now will it? From the trailer above, I think Ru might be hinting at Langanja Estranja and Tatianna as a couple of All Star queens. Who else should be on All Stars? Here are my votes, in no particular order: … Continue reading
The RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 7 Finale begins with a re-introduction of all the queens. It’s nice that each queen gets to walk the catwalk – and they all look great. When Ru herself is introduced, she even lipsynchs a little bit to her song The Realness. She talked a little bit about possibly touring on her podcast, What’s the T. Maybe this is a sample? After the introductions, we learn that the top 3 queens have all been asked to prepare yet another lipsynch to help Ru make her decision. Songs have been created especially for this performance. … Continue reading
RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 7 episode 13 is this season’s clip show. I’ve spent this Memorial Day cleaning out closets & taking in a baseball game. Now I must relive the moments of season 7 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. There’s really not a lot of reason to watch this episode, but it’s good for a few laughs. Jasmine has abs! Fame is skinny! These girls don’t pad! What happened to Jinkx’ face? Violet can cinch! Kennedy has curves! Ginger is a glamour toad! Jaidynn is fierce! The beards looked cool and the #1 beard was Little Richard. Huh? I mean, Little … Continue reading
RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 7 episode 12 is the music video episode. The girls are filming the video for Born Naked – choreographed by Candis Cayne and directed by Mathu Anderson. The person eliminated from this episode will be CUT OUT of the final music video. Daaaauuuuyyyyymmmm… Darienne would’ve been screwed last year. But before we get to that, Ginger has to have a little cry over missing Katya. The final four have a little bit of tension for each other. You shouldn’t be here! No, YOU shouldn’t be here! Rowr! Ginger needs a smoke and a nap. By the … Continue reading
RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 7 episode 11 begins with Trixie’s second mirror message to the girls. Ginger is sorry she sent Trixie home, but she’s happy she’s still here. It really wouldn’t have been fair for Trixie to have gone much further. Ginger wants to see Violet lip synch. Violet is happy to see Ginger crack. We finally get a mention of Katya’s Russian character. That better not mean that she’s sashaying away. It’s time for the puppet mini-challenge! Katya gets Ginger, Ginger gets Violet, Pearl gets Kennedy, Kennedy gets Pearl and Violet gets Katya. It’s going to go down … Continue reading
Did anyone else have an overwhelming urge to eat eggs this week, or was that just us? Thankfully RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 7 episode 10 is titled Dancing Queens, so I assume I will obtain no overwhelming food cravings after watching. I’ll probably always want to ask: “Where’s your Christmas Spirit DONNN” but that’s to be expected. Violet stands up for Fame when the girls return to the workroom. She thinks Fame got thrown under the bus and probably feels very attacked right now. So after Fame’s elimination she wrote notes to each of the girls. Keep spreading that positivity, Fame! … Continue reading
After the conjoined twin drama, RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 7 episode 9 opens with some shade-throwing at Trixie Mattel. The other girls were initially happy that Trixie came back, but now the realization that there’s another competitor is sinking in. Poor Jaidynn Diore Fierce doesn’t even get so much as a mention. We learn early on that this is the John Waters episode. For the main challenge, the girls will be doing musical versions of famous John Waters movie scenes. Yes, it’s another team challenge. But first we’ve got time for a mini-challenge. The mini-challenge. It’s time for the children … Continue reading
I guess RuPaul’s Drag Race wants to give away the store, because they’ve posted a preview of episode 9. That preview shows this year’s rendition of Reading is Fundamental! This must be a really good episode if Logo is willing to share this so soon. The main challenge involves John Waters, so it should be good. Obviously, don’t watch this if you haven’t seen episode 8. Logo TV
RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 7 episode 8 begins with a mini-challenge. The girls are sent to Tuckahoe prison with their guard LATRICE!! Yay! Get those nuts away from my face! The point of this exercise is to drag up their prison uniforms. Actually the point is to remember how fabulous Latrice is & see the queens use tea bags for earrings. And to be filler before the contestants see which eliminated queen is returning. The winner of the mini-challenge is Kennedy Davenport. Katya: Latrice! It’s like seeing Sharon Stone! Except, you know, fat. And black. This has been a fun … Continue reading
It’s Christmas in April because it’s finally time for the RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 7 Snatch Game episode! Screw the mini-challenge! There’s only room for one challenge this episode! And in the vein of “you have no idea unless you saw the preview” both Max and Violet are planning on doing Donatella Versace. Kennedy claims that she hasn’t thought of who she’s going to do on Snatch Game. WHO GOES ON DRAG RACE WITHOUT THINKING OF THEIR SNATCH GAME CHARACTER?! Ru does her typical Jedi mind tricks on the contestants as she walks around the workroom checking in with them. … Continue reading
